These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Arion FZC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), which operates snagcompare.com and the Snagcompare directory of property snagging and handover inspection companies in the UAE (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
1. Our services
Snagcompare is an independent directory that compares property snagging and handover inspection companies across the seven emirates on price, coverage, report delivery time, re-inspection policy and customer rating. We are not a snagging company ourselves, and we do not perform inspections, issue reports, or act as an agent for any listed company.
The information on the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation. If you access the Services from outside the UAE, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
2. Listings, pricing and third-party links
Listing details — including price, coverage area, inspection duration, report delivery time and re-inspection policy — are compiled from information published by each company and from our own research, and are refreshed periodically. Figures can change without notice on the listed company's side before we update them, so always confirm current pricing and terms directly with the company before booking.
Star ratings and review counts are aggregated from third-party sources (such as Google) at the time of writing and are not independently verified by us.
Buttons and links on the Services that take you to a company's website, WhatsApp number, or phone number lead to third parties outside our control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or conduct of any listed company or any site we link to, and a listing on Snagcompare is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of quality. Any agreement or transaction you enter into with a listed company is strictly between you and that company.
If you believe a listing is inaccurate or out of date, please tell us through our contact page and we will look into it.
3. Intellectual property rights
Our intellectual property
We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Services, including the source code, database, design, text and graphics that make up the directory (the “Content”), as well as the Snagcompare name and logo (the “Marks”). The Content and Marks are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, and are provided “as is” for your personal, non-commercial use.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services and to view, download or print a copy of any page for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Except as set out in this section, no part of the Services, Content or Marks may be systematically copied, scraped, reproduced, republished, aggregated into a competing directory, or otherwise exploited for a commercial purpose without our prior written permission — see section 5. We reserve all rights not expressly granted here.
Listed company marks
Company names, logos and marks that appear in listings remain the property of their respective owners and are used to identify and describe those companies for comparison purposes.
4. User representations
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that: (1) you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms; (2) you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means, whether by bot, script or scraper, except as permitted by standard search engine crawling; (3) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; and (4) your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
5. Prohibited activities
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than comparing snagging companies for your own use. As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
- Systematically scrape, crawl, or otherwise retrieve data from the Services to build or compile a collection, database or directory, without our written permission.
- Circumvent, disable or interfere with any security-related feature of the Services.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or anything that disrupts the operation of the Services.
- Use any data mining, robots, or similar automated data-gathering tools against the Services, other than standard search-engine indexing.
- Attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the Services' software.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or company, when contacting us.
- Submit false reports of abuse, or use our contact form to send unsolicited advertising, spam, or malicious content.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an undue burden on the Services or the infrastructure it runs on.
- Use the Services as part of any effort to build a competing product, or otherwise for a revenue-generating purpose we have not approved.
6. Contact-form submissions
The Services do not offer public accounts, comments or user-generated content — you cannot post or publish anything visible to other users. The one way to send us content is our contact form. See how we handle what you submit there, including the name, email and message you provide, in our Privacy Policy.
If you send us a suggestion, correction or other feedback about a listing or the Services, you agree that we may use it — for example, to update a listing — without compensation or attribution to you. You remain responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit, and must not send us anything illegal, defamatory, or that infringes a third party's rights.
7. Services management
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: monitor the Services for misuse; take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms or the law, including reporting them to the relevant authorities; add, correct, or remove any listing or Content at our discretion; and otherwise manage the Services to protect their proper functioning and our rights.
8. Term and termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may deny access to the Services to any person, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms, without notice or liability, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Modifications and interruptions
We reserve the right to change, update or remove any part of the Content or the Services at any time, without notice, and we have no obligation to keep any listing current. We cannot guarantee the Services will be available at all times — we may experience downtime for maintenance, hosting issues, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by an interruption, suspension or discontinuation of the Services.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. You and Arion FZC irrevocably agree that the courts of the United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
11. Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS OR CURRENCY OF ANY LISTING, PRICE, RATING OR OTHER CONTENT ON THE SERVICES, OR OF ANY THIRD-PARTY SITE LINKED FROM THEM. WE DO NOT WARRANT, ENDORSE, OR ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE OFFERED BY A LISTED COMPANY, AND WE ARE NOT A PARTY TO, AND WILL NOT MONITOR, ANY TRANSACTION BETWEEN YOU AND A LISTED COMPANY. USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT AND EXERCISE APPROPRIATE CAUTION BEFORE BOOKING OR PAYING ANY THIRD PARTY.
12. Limitations of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY LISTED COMPANY'S SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OR ALL OF THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless, including our affiliates, officers and employees, from any loss, damage, liability, claim or demand — including reasonable legal fees — made by a third party arising out of: (1) your use of the Services; (2) your breach of these Terms; (3) your violation of any applicable law; or (4) any dispute between you and a listed company.
14. Electronic communications
Visiting the Services and sending us messages through the contact form constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, and agree that any notice, disclosure or other communication we provide electronically satisfies any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.
15. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision. If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time, for example in connection with a merger or sale of assets. No joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship is created between you and us as a result of these Terms or your use of the Services.
